Welcoming New Team Members to Geocodio

We have some exciting news to share about the Geocodio team! We're thrilled to introduce two new team members and share an update about an existing team member's expanded role.

Sylvester Damgaard has joined us as Principal Software Engineer, Infrastructure, bringing over two decades of experience to our team. He comes to us from Laravel's Cloud infrastructure team and has extensive experience in DevOps, infrastructure, Kubernetes, and more. We’re thrilled to have Sylvester take the lead on several major engineering initiatives and new features we have planned for the next year.

Emily Backe has officially joined us as Executive Assistant. Emily brings over five years of administrative experience across the public and private sectors. She joined the Geocodio team as a contractor in February, so many of our customers have already interacted with Emily and experienced her initiative, attention to detail, and diligence themselves. We're excited that she's finally coming in-house!

We’re also excited to share that TJ Miller’s role has evolved into Principal Software Engineer, AI. TJ has become one of the Laravel community’s leading AI engineers, and just gave a talk at Laracon US about his open source project, Prism. We're looking forward to having TJ lead our efforts to integrate AI thoughtfully across our company and engineering processes.

As our team continues to grow, we're also actively looking for a Marketing Manager focused on lifecycle email. If you know someone who has done product marketing at a B2B SaaS with an API product, we’d love for you to send them our way!
