Address completion
Geocodio can be used to complete incomplete addresses. You can submit full addresses in different formats as well as incomplete addresses.
As long as you supply at least Street + City + State/Province or Street/postal code, Geocodio can return a full completed and standardized address street, city, state, zip and county. In 90% of cases, these combinations will have a result that is either on the exact rooftop or in front of the parcel on the street. If only a city/state or postal code is given, a centroid will be returned. (See more about accuracy here.)

Notes
If a city is given without a street or state/province, the city with the largest population will be assumed.
If a country is not specified in the query, Geocodio will assume the country to be USA. UK queries should include the postcode or otherwise make the country clear (or pass
country=GBexplicitly).For UK addresses, a postcode alone is often enough to resolve to a specific location, since postcodes are much more precise than US ZIP codes. A full postcode typically narrows to a small group of neighboring addresses rather than a wide area.
For UK addresses, an outward code alone (e.g. "SW1A" without the rest of the postcode) returns the broader area it covers, not a single address.
For UK addresses, county alone is not a reliable input and may not return a usable result; pair it with at least a city or postcode.
Please note that at this time, Geocodio is not CASS certified by USPS. If you require CASS-certified address completion, such as for shipping purposes, a different vendor may be a better fit.
