Pricing Changes Effective February 1, 2026

Quick summary: Geocodio is changing its pricing for pay-as-you-go, Self-Service Unlimited, and Enterprise Unlimited on February 1, 2026.

To continue making Geocodio more accurate, more reliable, and more useful to you, Geocodio pricing will be changing on February 1, 2026.

All paying Geocodio customers should have already received an email with details specific to your account. If you did not receive that email, please let us know.

Product-specific changes

• Pay-as-you-go: Pay-as-you-go pricing will increase from $0.50 to $1.00 per 1,000 lookups on February 1, 2026. The free tier remains unchanged. You’ll still get 2,500 free lookups per day.
• Self-Service Unlimited: Self-Service Unlimited will increase from $1,000/month to $1,350/month for new customers, and additional instances will increase from $700/month to $1,000/month.
• Enterprise Unlimited: Enterprise Unlimited will increase from $2,500/month to $3,250/month for new customers, and additional instances will increase from $1,850/month to $2,500/month.

Pay-as-you-go: How to manage your costs

You have three different options:

Set a usage limit Set a daily usage limit of up to 50,000 lookups on the dashboard to control spending.

Buy credits in advance and save Purchase credits in blocks of 500,000 or more and get volume discounts. Credits never expire.

→ Note: Since credits purchased today will be valid after February 1, buying credits now locks in the current $0.50/1,000 rate—effectively saving you 50% compared to the new pay-as-you-go price.

Consider Unlimited for high-volume needs Need more than 1.25 million lookups per month? Unlimited will save you money, and you’ll get a dedicated Geocodio instance processing up to 5.15 million lookups per day, with no rate limiting and priority support.

→ Note: Unlimited prices are also increasing on February 1 (to $1,350/month), but if you subscribe before February 1, you’ll qualify for $100 off when the price goes up.

Subscriptions: How to manage your costs

All of our subscription plans are eligible for annual payment discounts. Please reach out to us at sales@geocod.io to discuss.

Self-Service Unlimited Customers with an active subscription as of January 31, 2026 will receive a $100/month discount on the base subscription as long as their subscription is active. (If you cancel and then re-subscribe later, the then-current rate will apply.)

Enterprise Unlimited Customers with an active subscription as of January 31, 2026 will receive a $300/month discount on the base subscription as long as their subscription is active. (If you cancel and then re-subscribe later, the then-current rate will apply.)

Thank you for being a Geocodio customer

Geocodio’s pay-as-you-go plan has been $0.50/1,000 for almost ten years now. If we’d increased it every year with inflation, it would be $1.36 now. We think the service is a lot better than when we launched it in 2014, and we hope you agree.

In the last two years alone, we've added major new capabilities: customizable Census appends at any geographic level, FFIEC Census tract income classification, a Lists API, an official Python library, free maps with every file upload, state legislator data, and more.

In addition to new features, we deployed a project in October focused on improving accuracy and speed, achieving a 57% reduction in low-accuracy results and 5% higher throughput for all geocoding operations, including for Unlimited customers. These gains come from a major overhaul of our range interpolation, internal architecture, and ranking algorithms, and apply to both forward and reverse geocoding across the US and Canada.

And in 2026, we’ll keep working to make location and address data easier for you to use. Our roadmap includes many frequently-requested features from customers.
